Olayinka Aderinkola Akinrinola Foundation, in the pragmatic support of Nigerian children mental and physical development, single-handedly sponsored the Yellow House of Obafemi Owode Local Government (OOLG) Nursery/ Pry School, on Tuesday, 18th, February 2025.
The event was colourful and successful, and Olayinka Aderinkola Akinrinola Foundation (Yellow House) came first in march past and overall by God’s grace.
The intention of the event based on the previous cordial relationship with the school, was communicated by the school headteacher, Mrs Eunice Olanireti, on Tuesday, 26th, November 2024, via WhatsApp to the founder, Prophetess (Mrs) Olayinka A. Akinrinola, the co-founder and international director, Mr Aderinkola A. Akinrinola, respectively.
Prophetess Olayinka A. Akinrinola, without hesitation, humbly asked if the event could come up in April instead of the proposed date. Mrs Eunice Olanireti replied that the date was picked by the Ogun State government, and it is mandatory that the school adhere to the chosen date.
Prophetess (Mrs) Olayinka A. Akinrinola began the preparation by sending money to the headteacher for all the yellow house marchers’ uniforms and to Ms Oluwafolakemi Osewa for purchasing of native attires also known as lace and aso-oke for the nominated king, queen, prince, and princess of yellow house. Prophetess (Mrs) Olayinka A. Akinrinola sent one of the foundation’s representatives, Ms Oluwafolakemi V. Osewa to purchase the attire at one of Nigerian popular market Oshodi, and deliver them to the foundation’s fashion designer, Mrs Kehinde Muyiwa (Aunt Kenny) who made the children’s beautiful styles.
Prophetess (Mrs) Olayinka A. Akinrinola notified O. A. A. F National Coordinator, Mr Mohammad Bello (Dogo), and Social Mobilising Officer, Mr Dimeji Adeyemi, to constantly be in touch with the headteacher to prevent any stone untouched. They both yielded the advice and acted promptly until the day of the event.
Prophetess (Mrs) Olayinka A. Akinrinola asked Ms Oluwafolakemi Osewa to further purchase socks and gloves for the yellow house marchers, as well as the first-aid box contents, which include; glucose, Chewing gums, plasters, bandages, scissors and medical gloves. All these items were purchased and kept as advised.
Prophetess (Mrs) Olayinka A. Akinrinola pleaded with the fashion designer, Mrs Kehinde Muyiwa, to purchase shoes, beads, and other stuff for the king, queen, prince, and princess, which she did accordingly. The fashion designer visited the school along with the national coordinator and social mobilising officer and took the children’s clothes and shoes measurements for accurate size before the shopping.
Prophetess (Mrs) Olayinka A. Akinrinola also sent money to the headteacher as donations in support of the upcoming event expenses. Money was further sent to the coordinator to purchase biscuits and drinks for all yellow house children, as well as drinks for the special guests, yellow house staff, and O. A. A. F. team, which he did promptly.
Prophetess (Mrs) Olayinka A. Akinrinola contacted a Lagos based professional caterer; Mrs Oluwatosin Adebajo (Sinto Catering Services), for the special guests, the school staff, and O. A. A. F team feeding. An agreement was reached, and a full payment was made.
When all necessary arrangements were concluded, Prophetess (Mrs) Olayinka A. Akinrinola instructed the team to convey all items to the school. The early conveying of the items was to ensure the children’s attires are suitable and no stone has been left untouched.
One of Nigerians’ living legends and veterans, Elder Monsuru Obadina (Fala), heard about the upcoming event and expressed his interest to be a guest. An arrangement of feeding and transportation was made for him and three of his colleagues, and he warmly graced the occasion.
The co-founder and international director of the foundation, Mr Aderinkola A. Akinrinola, who was occupied with the family unprecedented issue, was later on briefed, and he checklisted and ensured all plans were intact.
