Olayinka Aderinkola Akinrinola Foundation (O. A. A. F.) visited the Nigeria Red Cross Orphanage Home in Yaba Lagos, Nigeria (the first orphanage home in Nigeria), on Saturday, 9th, December 2023, and donated; foods, snacks, drinks, and tissues by God’s grace.
The team arrived at the orphanage at 07:34 am and met with Matron (Mrs) Adeola Daodu. Matron (Mrs) Adeola Daodu warmly welcomed the team and passionately and concisely narrated the history of the orphanage.
She further spoke about how the orphanage was established, those who established it, the purpose for the establishment, and the accomplishments of the orphanage.
Mrs Eze, one of the orphanage’s staff took our team to say hello to the children and cautioned the team to neither photograph nor record the children for safety reasons, and the team complied with the instruction.
The children enthusiastically welcomed the team, and one of them prayed for O. A. A. F. The youngest among the children was 8 months old and was fast asleep when the team got there. Mrs Adeola appreciated the foundation after which, she said words of prayers.
Olayinka Aderinkola Akinrinola Foundation team reciprocated the orphanage’s humane gesture, by wishing the orphanage God’s divine favour and mercies after which the team departed the location. Below is a glimpse of the event.
