On 25th March 2021, Olayinka Aderinkola Akinrinola Foundation visited 3 Schools situated at 20b Alubarika street, Laide bus stop, Bariga, Lagos. The three schools were, Alubarika Primary School, Temple Primary School, and Somolu Local Government Primary School. This visit was with the aim to spread the hand of love towards the pupils of the school, through donation of educational materials to some pupils in the school and equipping ten less privilege pupils in Alubarika Primary School with new school uniforms.
Prior to the visitation, the coordinator Mr Samuel Gbohunmi Awosoga together with Miss Aishat Adebola went on a formal introduction to the schools, disclosed the intention of the foundation to the head teachers at each school as well as taking the necessary details concerning the upcoming visit. The headteachers were glad bout this and anticipated the visit. On the set date the team of Olayinka Aderinkola Akinrinola Foundation lead by its coordinator.
Upon arrival of the team to the school they were welcomed by the head teachers Mrs Omoyajowo (Alubarika Primary School), Mrs V.O Omodan (Temple Primary School) and Mrs Shobiye E. O (Somolu Local Government Primary School) along with the staffs of Local Government Education Authority in persons of Mrs Omodara Omolara Olubunmi (Chief Education Officer) and Mr Ajayi B. A (Education officer). The team came with educational materials which included Exercise books, Biros, Pencils, Rulers, Erasers and sharpeners and also with new school uniforms for ten less privileged pupils of Alubarika Primary School which were well packaged. The pupils who were beneficiaries of the school uniforms were assembled at the head teacher’s office and received their uniforms from one of the foundation’s Representative in person of Mrs Titilola Awosoga.
The team then moved from one class to another to distribute the already packed educational materials to pupils in the various schools. Upon the completion of the distribution, the teachers, head teacher and also the staffs of the LGEA were appreciated with some educational materials too. The pupils and the teachers sent their warm regards to the founders of Olayinka Aderinkola Akinrinola foundation and the team.
