On the 15th of October, 2020. OLAYINKA ADERINKOLA AKINRINOLA FOUNDATION paid a visit to Iyedi Tuntun community, which is situated in Ota, Ogun state. Before this visit the foundation’s coordinator Mr Samuel Awosoga and the secretary to the foundation in person of Miss Ibrahim Aishat Adebola went to the community to convey the foundation’s intention towards the community for the set date. They met with the former CDA chairman in person of Mr Abayomi Sunday Fatai.
On the set date, the foundation’s team members showed up as promised. They were given a cordial welcome and immediately met with the Baale of the community in person of Alhaji Sabitu Otapo, the former CDA Chairman Mr Abayomi Sunday Fatai and the Otun of iyedi tuntun Mr Muhammed Waliu. The foundation prepared well packed handout for the aged people as well as the little children of the community. The foundation’s team moved from house to house to give out the packages to the aged people.
After the distribution to the aged people, the children were lined up and their packages were distributed to them, they received it with Joy, this was evident because of the smiles on their faces. This made the team very happy. The Baale and other community heads were not left out from the handouts. After the completion of the exercise, the Baale and the community at large showed their appreciation to the founders of the foundation they said prayers for them as well as the team, they stated it would be of great delight to have the Foundation in their community some other time. They wished the team journey mercies as they left the community.
