On 25th November 2020, Olayinka Aderinkola Akinrinola Foundation paid a visit to 3 primary schools in Lagos, Ideal Primary School, Methodist Primary School, and Okusanya Memorial Primary School all situated at Orile Road off Tabon Tabon bus stop, Agege, Lagos. The aim of this visit was to spread the hand of love towards the pupils of the school, through the donation of educational materials and equipping ten less privileged pupils in each school with school uniforms.
Prior to the visitation, the foundation had gone on a formal introduction to the schools, disclosed the intention of the foundation to the headteachers of each school. On the set date, the team arrived at the school and were welcomed by the headteachers Mrs. C. F Olaoye (Ideal Primary School), Mrs. Jackson Oluyinka (Methodist Primary School), and Mrs. Adewunmi Titilayo (Okusanya Memorial Primary School) along with the staffs of Local Government Education Authority, Agege in persons of Mrs. V. O Odiase (Director of School Support) and Mr. Adebote Abraham (H. O. S counseling). The team came with educational materials which included Exercise books, Biros, Pencils, Rulers, Erasers, and sharpeners, and also with school uniforms for the less privileged which were well packaged. The pupils who were beneficiaries of the school uniforms were assembled at the head teacher’s office and received their uniforms from one of the foundation’s representatives in the person of Mrs. Titilola Awosoga.
The team then moved from one class to another to distribute the already packed educational materials. Upon the completion of the distribution, the teachers, headteacher, and also the staffs of the LGEA (Local Government Education Authority) were appreciated with some educational materials too. The pupils, the teachers, the headteachers, and also the representatives from the LGEA (Local Government Education Authority) all sent their warm regards to the founders of Olayinka Aderinkola Akinrinola foundation.
